Seahawks’ loss to Giants stings for safety Jamal Adams

The Seattle Seahawks’ loss to the New York Giants is particularly painful for safety Jamal Adams having come from New York.

Although the Seattle Seahawks saw an improved defensive performance from some of their players Sunday afternoon, the team still dropped the Week 13 contest to the New York Giants by a score of 17-12.

The defeat was particularly difficult for safety Jamal Adams, especially against a club the Seahawks – by all rights – should have beaten handily.

“It stings, it stings. I’m pissed off,” Adams said during his postgame press conference. “Coming from where I came from, a New York team, it just hits a little bit different for me. But it’s not about me. Obviously, we’re going to bounce back, we’re going to figure it out, we’re going to correct
mistakes.

“But it definitely stings, it definitely stings.”

Adams logged a decent outing himself, posting 11 total tackles (8 solo) and a sack on the day.

The Seahawks’ star safety will face an even more personal opponent next week when Seattle squares off against his former team and adversary, the New York Jets.
