Seahawks have 4 picks remaining after trade up in 2020 NFL draft

After trading two picks to the New York Jets in order to move up in the 2020 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks have just four picks remaining.

The Seattle Seahawks made another surprising move on Friday evening, trading up in the 2020 NFL draft in order to select Tennessee edge defender Darrell Taylor.

The Seahawks sent their first pick in the second round (59 overall) as well as their third round pick (101 overall) to the New York Jets in order to acquire the 48th pick, which they used on Taylor.

Seattle came into the draft with just seven picks in the 2020 NFL draft, and now the team has just four picks remaining with the majority of the draft still yet to happen.

Here are Seattle’s four remaining picks, as of this writing:

Round 2 (64)

Round 4 (133)

Round 4 (144)

Round 6 (214)

Seattle has averaged just under 10 picks per draft in the past few years, and it would not be a huge surprise to see John Schneider trade down and acquire more picks on Day 3 of the NFL draft.

For now, the second and third rounds will continue on Friday evening, and rounds 4-7 will kick off at 9:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, April 25.
