Scotty Middleton to make return against Nebraska Tuesday

Can Ohio State finally win a game on the road? #GoBucks

According to Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann, freshman guard Scotty Middleton will make a return on Tuesday when the Buckeyes travel to Lincoln to take on Nebraska.

Middleton missed the game against Penn State at home for violating team rules. What brought about that suspension has not been revealed, and don’t expect it to officially be. However, getting Middleton back will add some depth to the backcourt and that’s always a good thing on the road in the Big Ten.

So far this season, Middleton is averaging 4.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in almost 17 minutes of play. But again, getting some depth and ball-handling will do nothing but help Ohio State end a 12-game road losing streak dating back to last season that’s hanging around the program’s neck.

Hopefully, the Buckeyes can do enough to come out of Lincoln with a victory. We’ll have coverage and analysis before and after the game, so be sure to check back with us here at Buckeyes Wire.
