Ohio State head coach Ryan Day met with select reporters on a teleconference Wednesday to answer questions and provide updates.

Ohio State football head coach Chris Holtmann made himself available to select reporters on Tuesday to provide an update on the Ohio State basketball program.

Wednesday, it was Ryan Day’s turn to provide an update on the football program to select reporters as well. It’s all in an effort to keep everyone up to speed on how everyone at OSU is continuing to deal with the measures put in place for the coronavirus.

It was a wide-ranging question and answer session, and we’ve got the bullet points on what was discussed. Off we go …

On how the pandemic has impacted the NFL draft for his players:

  • Day said it’s been done with a higher rate of calls rather than in-person. There’s a ton of questions for the staff rather than getting those from in-person interviews.
  • He said that he’s getting a certain few questions about Joe Burrow, but not a bunch. Day has given nothing but the highest praise as feedback in regards to his work ethic and how he plays the game.
