The Ohio State football team got an unexpected scare from a Nebraska team that was taken behind the woodshed last week in Bloomington, Indiana, but found a way to survive, winning a close 21-17 contest at home on Saturday.
Head coach Ryan Day met with the media in Columbus after the game and had plenty to say about what he saw from the Cornhuskers and his team. He was visibly relieved to have pulled out the win but it’s clear it was not a performance he liked on the offensive side of the ball.
Thanks to the Columbus Dispatch YouTube channel, we have all of Day’s comments for you to take in, and as a bonus, running back Quinshon Judkins and quarterback Will Howard also took some time at the podium to field questions.
Watch what the trio said by clicking on play below and fast forwarding to when Day steps up to the mic to face the firing squad.
Ohio State will now hit the practice field and film room to dissect this one and prepare for a massive contest with a top-five Penn State team next weekend. Check back with us often as we continue to reflect on Nebraska then turn the page to the trip to Happy Valley coming up.
