Ohio State and Indiana are all set to set sail on this 2023 college football journey when both run out of the tunnel in Bloomington, Indiana Saturday. It’ll not only be the first game of the season, but the first Big Ten conference contest for both in 2023 as well.
To say it’s been an interesting offseason would be an understatement. OSU had to replace three starting offensive linemen, the starting quarterback, is tinkering with the offensive play calling duties, and is trying to improve on the defensive side of the ball.
Going on the road for Game 1 of the season isn’t ideal for any team, but head coach Ryan Day seems confident in his team’s ability to put it all together. He previewed the season and the matchup with the Hoosiers in his weekly press conference earlier this week, and if you didn’t get a chance to hear what he said, we have his remarks for you thanks to some Ohio State Buckeyes Facebook video.
In it, you can hear Day name a starter at quarterback, talk about how Indiana will challenge the team, discuss the defense, play calling duties, and more.
