Ohio State got a scare from Indiana, but did just enough to hang on for a 42-35 win in a top-10 Big Ten East battle for first place.
It wasn’t a clinic by any means by Ohio State. The Buckeyes still put up over 600 yards of offense, but the defense gave up a ton of big plays, allowing Indiana quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. to sling the ball around for 495 yards and five touchdowns.
In the end, though, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day was clearly happy to be 4-0 in a year in which nothing is a given, and everybody is fighting just to get to the next week in a COVID-19 pandemic-stricken world.
Day met with the media afterward and addressed what he saw from the game. We’re bringing it to you thanks to a link provided by the official Twitter account of the Ohio State Buckeyes and OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
