Ohio State struggled in the first half against Maryland and made all of Buckeye Nation nervous for more than half of the game. But never fear, OSU pulled itself together, found more than enough offense thanks to the Kyle McCord and Marvin Harrison Jr. connection, and won going away, 37-17.
After the game, Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day met with the media to discuss what he saw and to answer questions from reporters. He wasn’t happy with the performance in the first half but was content with how Ohio State went through adversity and pulled away in the second half.
In case you missed any of Day’s comments following the fifth win of the season, we’ve got the entire press conference thanks to our friends at the Columbus Dispatch.
You can listen to Day discuss the defense, the performance of Kyle McCord, some injury updates and more.
Ohio State now prepares to face Purdue on the road next Saturday. On to the next one and a chance to go 6-0.
