Rutgers football had their first weekend of official visits with the Big Ten program landing two commitments so far.
Wide receiver Jesse Ofurie and offensive lineman Mozell Williams
Ofurie is a three-star wide receiver who is ranked as the eighth-best player in Massachusetts and the No. 108 wide receiver in the nation according to 247Sports. Rutgers was his first Power Five – and to date, his only – Power Five offer.
The wide receiver is considered a bit under-the-radar coming from a state that isn’t heavily recruited.
As for Williams, he is the definition of under-the-radar, playing for a program that is overlooked when it comes to producing Division I talent. Hawthorne High School (Hawthorne, FL) is now a usual stomping ground for Power Five programs but Rutgers believes they have a real solid offensive line propsect.

He landed a recent offer from South Florida but like Ofurie, the offer from Rutgers was his only from a Power Five program.
He is a 6-foot-6, 330-pound offensive tackle.
