Rutgers football recruiting: Koy Beasley is now a four-star recruit

Koy Beasley is now a four-star recruit according to 247Sports.

Ohio defensive back Koy Beasley is now a four-star recruit on multiple evaluation sites, earning the distinction of getting another star on Monday.

The ratings bump came from 247Sports, who joined On3 in ranking the talented Beasley as a four-star.

A safety prospect out of LaSalle High School (Cincinnati, OH), Beasley is now the No. 147 player in the nation and the tenth-ranked safety in the nation according to 247Sports. He is also the third-highest ranked recruit in Ohio in the 2024 recruiting class.

Beasley recently announced a top four that includes Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Purdue and Wisconsin.

 

The Rutgers football 2024 recruiting class currently stands at eight commits. Ohio has become an important part of the Rutgers recruiting landscape over the last couple of years.

Last season, Rutgers landed three-star offensive lineman Dominic Rivera, who is scheduled to arrive on campus in June. Rivera had a solid offer list that included Boston College, Iowa State and Syracuse.

In the 2022 class, Rutgers secured three-star offensive lineman Kwabena ‘Kobe’ Asamoah. Last year as a true freshman, Asamoah started the final three games for Rutgers at guard.
