Rutgers football is 3-0 and continues to receive votes in the Week 4 USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.

Fresh off a 45-13 win over Delaware this past Saturday, Rutgers has now received votes for a third straight week as Big Ten play begins this weekend for the Scarlet Knights.

The opponent this Saturday for Rutgers is No. 19 Michigan. The Wolverines are coming off a 63-10 win over Northern Illinois where they scored a touchdown on each of their first seven possessions.

Penn State is the highest-ranked Big Ten program in the poll, moving up four spots to No. 8 after beating a ranked Auburn on Saturday night. Ohio State, who tumbled out of the top five last week with a home loss to Oregon, slipped one spot to No. 12 after struggling against Tulsa in Week 3.

No. 15 Wisconsin and No. 21 Michigan State, who broke into the top 25 for the first time all year, round out the Big Ten’s ranked representation.

Rutgers is one of two teams receiving votes in the poll from the Big Ten. Maryland (26 votes) won this past Saturday, beating Illinois on the road 20-17.
