Shane Carter: Roschon Johnson, RB

Roschon Johnson is in danger of falling out of favor in the backfield. Not only does Bijan Robinson a star in the making, but the flux of incoming backs could make Johnson expendable. Four-star Jonathon Brooks is coming in this year and the nation’s No. 1 running back, Jaydon Blue, will follow suit in 2022. Johnson is going into his junior year with just over 1,000 yards rushing. He’ll likely still split time with Robinson to start the season, but will have his work cut out for him to show the new coaching staff that the team doesn’t need to rely solely on one back.
