Rookie Wire Power Rankings: Coby White stays red-hot for the Bulls

Rookie Wire takes a look at the top rookies through the latest week of the 2019-20 NBA season.

2. Coby White, Chicago Bulls

Stats: 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists

Last Rank: 2

As previously mentioned, White is coming off of his first career start on Tuesday night. Bulls head coach Jim Boylen often came under fire for not starting White after he had come off of the bench in the Bulls’ first 64 games of the season. He proved he belonged, at least after one start in place of Zach LaVine, after leading the Bulls to a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with 20 points. The first-round pick has recorded four straight 20-point games and has scored at least 20 points in eight of his last nine games. Over the last two weeks, only Zion Williamson has averaged more points than White as the Bulls rookie is averaging 22.3 points over that span.
