The last time the Buffalo Bills had a member of their organization interviewed by the New York Giants for a second time, they were hired.
History might be repeating itself soon.
According to numerous reports on Monday including Giants Wire, New York will conduct a second interview with Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll regarding their vacant head coaching position. Per updates, the interview will take place on Tuesday.
Daboll had his initial interview with Big Blue late last week. That came right after Buffalo assistant general manager Joe Schoen was hired as their GM.
Schoen was hired quickly after his second interview with the Giants which also occurred last week.
Prior to Schoen even being hired, reports surfaced that New York was “very interested” in naming Daboll their head coach.
In addition to Daboll getting a second interview this week, Buffalo defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier also had a first interview with the Giants regarding the job over the weekend. At this time, there is no second interview being reported for Frazier.
In addition to the Giants, Daboll was also connected to head coaching vacancies to with the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins as well.
Stay tuned to Bills Wire throughout the winter as we will provide all updates regarding Buffalo assistants and front-office members that are connected to other NFL teams.
