It was a windy road for offensive lineman Jon Dietzen to get to where he is today, entering the program in 2015, starting for the Badgers from 2016-2018, stepping away from the sport in 2019 and finally returning and playing this season.
After taking that time off in 2019 due to injury, his return and play on the field were both impressive to watch and inspirational for those playing around him.
I think it’s safe to say he embodies what it means to be a Wisconsin Badger offensive lineman.
Well Badger fans, you might not be done watching him quite yet as a WBay.com piece highlighted Dietzen and noted that he is preparing for a shot at the NFL.

His career in a Wisconsin uniform will be remembered for his part in some impressive offensive line units, his perseverance to get back on the field and what he meant to the locker room as a leader of the team.
We now wait a few months to see whether he gets a shot at playing at the next level.
