This has been a week of crazy sports news due to the Coronavirus that has taken the world by surprise. Games, practices, meetings, pro days, and much more have been cancelled. And apparently, the Miami Dolphins tried to get Tua Tagovailoa in for a pre-draft visit before the NFL facilities closed. But that didn’t get to happen.

According to Ian Rapoport, there were logistical issues in Tagovailoa having a visit to Miami. Although he was the first choice for the Dolphins, the meeting wasn’t able to happen.
One of the biggest conversations this week has been the idea of Jordan Love being drafted by Miami, and the LA Chargers picking up Tua. That could be because the Dolphins were able to meet with Utah State quarterback Jordan Love, as well as Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins for pre-draft visits last Friday.
Since then, the NFL prohibited teams from conducting pre-draft visits due to growing concerns surrounding the new coronavirus.
The Dolphins have three first-round draft picks this year including the No. 5 overall selection, which many have predicted Tagovailoa to end up being drafted at.
For the season, Tagovailoa threw for 2,840 yards, 33 TDs, and 3 INT.In his career at Alabama, Tua racked up 7,442 yards passing, 87 TDs, and 11 INT.
The 2020 NFL draft will be held from April 23-25.
