REPORT: Jedrick Wills active for Browns after Week 1 leg injury

Former Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills was questionable to return in the Browns’ Week 1 matchup against Baltimore after a leg injury.

Former Alabama Crimson tide offensive tackle Jedrick Wills has taken on a big role for the Cleveland Browns, the blind-side blocker for former Heisman Award winner baker Mayfield. After leaving the team’s Week 1 contest early due to a leg injury, Wills is active for their primetime matchup in Week 2 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.

The news of Wills being active for the Browns in their Thursday Night Football contest against the Bengals was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Wills injured his leg in the third quarter of the Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The former Alabama tackle was drafted by the Browns with the No. 1 overall selection in the 2020 draft.
