A recent report has a transfer portal wide receiver planning to make a visit to Lincoln next month. Sean Callahan of HuskerOnline has reported that the Huskers are targeting the weekend of Jan. 5 for a campus visit from wide receiver Jahmal Banks.

Banks spent the last four years at Wake Forest, and he will reportedly have two seasons of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound wide receiver made 59 catches for 653 yards and four touchdowns in 2023.

He’s appeared in 43 games for his career, making 107 catches for 1,404 yards and 13 touchdowns. Should Banks take a trip to Lincoln that weekend, he will not be the only prospective transfer.

The Huskers are also planning on welcoming former Oregon running back Dante Dowdell that weekend.
