The New York Giants have hired Laura Young as their director of coaching operations, according to multiple reports including NorthJersey.com. Young becomes the third member of the Bills to follow the Giants’ new head coach, Brian Daboll, from Buffalo to New York.
With the Bills, Young was the team’s player service coordinator. In moving to the G-Men, she becomes their first-ever hire of a women on the coaching side. Young has spent 18 total years working in the NFL.
In 2020, the Giants hired their first full-time female scout in Hannah Burnett.

With the Bills, Young assisted players and their families with the acclimation to Buffalo while also serving as the COVID-19 coordinator the past two years. No small task there.
In heading to New York, Young joins coaches Bobby Johnson and Shea Tierney to on Daboll’s staff.
