247Sports composite rankings list Hill as the No. 1 linebacker in the nation and the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Texas. He is the type of talent who can make a day-one impact on any defense in the country.
The one-time Texas A&M commit is expected to make his college decision and sign on Dec. 21 according to Inside Texas. Hill would like to stay in the state of Texas and is believed to be picking between Texas and Texas A&M.
Both Texas and Texas A&M are hoping to get Hill on campus one more time before the early signing period.
Texas’ staff never gave up its pursuit of Hill after his original commitment to Texas A&M. The same relentless effort helped Texas land Kelvin Banks last cycle.
