REPORT: Denver Broncos are looking to trade up for Jerry Jeudy

According to Woody Paige, the Denver Broncos are looking to trade up in order to get wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy has continued to improve his draft stock this season. So much so, that he has continued to climb up spots in many NFL mock drafts. And according to Woody Paige of The Colorado Springs Gazette, the Denver Broncos are looking to trade up in order to get wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

According to reports, the Broncos want a wide receiver, but since they have the 15th pick, there’s a chance Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy and Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb would already be off the board by the time they had their pick.

Paige reports that Broncos general manager John Elway and the Broncos are looking to trade up in the draft in order to select Jeudy, who is the big 3 wideout the Broncos want to get.the “big three” wideout the franchise is targeting. The Broncos will try to trade up to the No. 8 or No. 10 spot and grab Jeudy.

There’s no doubt the Broncos needs depth and new life at the wide receiver position. Last season, Courtland Sutton led the Broncos in receiving with 1,112 yards and and 6 touchdowns. Denver also had Emmanuel Sanders who recorded 367 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

Simply put, Jeudy would be a huge pickup for the Broncos, and they seem to be doing whatever they can in order to secure him.

Last season, he recorded 77 receptions for 1,163 yards and 10 TDs.

In his career, he finished with 159 receptions for 2,742 yards and 26 touchdowns.

The NFL Draft will take place from April 23-25.
