It’s time for you readers to learn a little about me. I am a huge Simpsons fan and I try my best to use things I love as a reference to sports. Earlier in the year, I referred to the Colorado Buffaloes’ grades as looking more like Bart’s than Lisa’s.
There is a Simpsons episode where Bart has to receive a passing grade to prevent himself from being held back, and he’s able to pass. That was the California game for the Buffaloes. A one-off passing grade in an otherwise failing season. The Buffs were pushed around by the physically imposing Oregon State Beavers to the tune of a 42-9 final.
