It was a pretty poor performance for Alabama’s special team units. Will Reichard missed what could have been the game-winning kick. James Burnip had a short punt that gave Tennessee the ball in prime scoring position. Then you have the debacle on the punt return where Quandarrius Robinson inexplicably touched the ball and allowed the Vols to recover, setting themselves up in excellent field position. It was just a rough night for that phase of the game for the Tide.
