Rookie running back Devin Singletary was the only offensive spark throughout the first three quarters for the Bills. In the first half he had just 10 carries but for 46 yards, which is an impressive 4.6 yards per carry. Singletary carried this strong performance into the second half, finishing the game with 89 yards on 17 carries, an average of 5.2 yards per carry.
Singletary also got involved in the passing game, the back was targeted eight times, and caught six of those passes. On those six catches he had 29 yards, an average of 4.8 yards per catch. His receiving stats put him at 118 total yards for the game. As a team, the Bills had 209 yards on offense.
Frank Gore had just four carries for six yards on Sunday, which isn’t good enough, and continues the downward trajectory for Frank Gore this season. Since Devin Singletary’s emergence as the lead back for Buffalo, Gore hasn’t had the same production that he had earlier in the season.
