Report: Bulls’ two-way rookie Justin Lewis suffers severe knee injury

The fear is that the undrafted rookie out of Marquette suffered a torn ACL.

The Chicago Bulls may have lost one of their rookies before the 2022-23 season has even started.

Reported by K.C. Johnson of NBCS Chicago, undrafted rookie Justin Lewis suffered a knee injury during an offseason workout away from the team. The fear is that the injury is a torn ACL, which would end Lewis’ season before it even started.

Lewis, who signed with the Bulls after going undrafted out of Marquette, played for Chicago at NBA Summer League, averaging 7.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

The 6-foot-7 forward signed a two-way deal with Chicago on draft night.
