Report: Boston’s Josh Richardson a player the Utah Jazz ‘have interest in’

The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor revealed that the Utah Jazz have had interest in dealing for Josh Richardson — but what would such a deal look like, and does the Joe Ingles injury change that?

The Utah Jazz are not in a good place right now headed closer to the 2022 NBA trade deadline after having lost veteran wing Joe Ingles to a season-ending ACL tear, and their struggles to defend on the perimeter date back even before that disastrous turn of events for the Salt Lake City-based franchise.

The current, rickety state of one of the teams widely seen as being a potential legitimate title contender was a topic of much discussion on the latest episode of the Bill Simmons podcast, with the eponymous host debating what the Jazz ought to do with NBA insider Kevin O’Connor, with Utah’s defense an issue of note.

“Jordan Clarkson can’t stop anybody,” explained O’Connor.
