Fedora joined the Texas Longhorns staff as an analyst after being fired as head coach of North Carolina following the 2018 season. His record at UNC finished at 45-43 and 28-28 in conference play. He was replaced by former Longhorns coach Mack Brown.
Fedora will now take over a Baylor offense that ranked 52nd in total offense. Baylor finished 2nd in the Big 12 after falling to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game. The Sooners, Bears and Longhorns will likely be the three battling for conference supremacy in 2020.
