Reaction: Georgia TE Brock Bowers entering NFL draft

Georgia Bulldogs superstar tight end Brock Bowers declares for the 2024 NFL draft. Let’s look back on his legendary UGA football career.

As expected, Georgia Bulldogs junior tight end Brock Bowers is entering the 2024 NFL draft. Bowers is projected to be a first-round pick in the draft and is considered the No. 1 tight end prospect.

Brock Bowers is the best tight end in the country and arguably the greatest tight end to play college football. He finished his junior season with 56 receptions for 714 receiving yards and seven total touchdowns.

Bowers missed several games this season after suffering a high ankle sprain against Vanderbilt. Bowers, who underwent TightRope surgery, returned for the Ole Miss game. However, he tweaked his ankle again when Georgia played at Tennessee. Bowers returned for the SEC championship against Alabama, but was clearly not 100%.

Bowers won back-to-back national championships to open his career at Georgia. Since Bowers played his first career college game against Clemson in 2021, it was clear Bowers was a star.

Bowers finishes his Georgia career with 175 receptions (third all-time), 2,538 receiving yards (fifth all-time), and 26 receiving touchdowns (second all-time). Additionally, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end accumulated 193 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns in his three-year career.

Georgia football social media is proud of Bowers and excited to see him at the next level.
