Ravens QB Lamar Jackson gets praise from Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt

Bengals rookie cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt praised the play of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens will face their first AFC North opponent of 2022 when they welcome the Cincinnati Bengals into M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday Night Football in Week 5. Despite it being early in the season, the matchup could prove to be an important one later on as both teams currently hold a record of 2-2, looking to continue their quest to claim the division crown.

Prior to the matchup, multiple Cincinnati players have shown respect for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com put out an article in which he spoke with Bengals rookie cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt. Taylor-Britt said Jackson is a true athlete, saying that he’s like a “Madden character.”

“I watched a lot of Lamar my senior year. He’s a real quarterback, he’s in the NFL for a reason. He’s a true athlete and you’ve got to give him that … He’s like a Madden character.”

Jackson has played great football through the first four weeks of the 2022 season and will look to keep that going against Cincinnati on Sunday night. Baltimore is currently one a five-game home losing streak dating back to last season, and suffered two blowout losses to the Bengals in 2021.
