Ravens grab role of Super Bowl favorites from Patriots

The Baltimore Ravens have displaced the New England Patriots as the Super Bowl favorite, per Las Vegas odds.

Combine a Baltimore victory over the San Francisco 49ers and a New England Patriots loss to the Houston Texans and Vegas has cooked up a new Super Bowl favorite: Baltimore.

The Ravens are the 5-2 choice to win the Super Bowl after improving to 10-2 and the Pats dropped to the same record. New England stands at 7-2 odds with the Saints the 11-2 third choice per FanDuel.

New England started the season with +700 (7-1 odds) to win the Super Bowl. Their odds dropped as low as 2-1 after an 8-0 start. However, their Week 9 loss to the Ravens, moved the Patriots’ Super Bowl LIV odds to +280.

Meanwhile, backers of Baltimore who got in early are sitting with sweet odds. Baltimore was a 45-1 shot to open the 2019 season and was 40-1 in  October after losing back-to-back games to the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns.
