There are probably going to be a few Auburn fans who are upset with Bo Nix’s ranking, but there just wasn’t anything special about the former five-star during his first year on The Plains.

And yes, I know that he landed SEC Freshman of the Year awards, but there are some major concerns with where he’s at as a quarterback. And those issues are magnified when you realize the Tigers will be replacing almost all of its offensive line.

If things begin to click for Nix and Auburn can get him adequate protection, there’s still a chance he can live up to the massive hype he received during high school. So, it’s way too premature to give up on him just yet.
