The Brooklyn Nets have a pair of talented centers in Jarrett Allen and DeAndre Jordan. Does either rank among the franchise’ five best ever?

4. Bill Paultz

Nets Stats: 15.6 PPG | 11.2 RPG | 2.1 BPG

Although it wasn’t one of his two All-Star seasons in a Nets uniform, Paultz played a big role in New York’s first ABA title. That season (1973-74), New Jersey native averaged 16.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

His career-high averages in points per game (16.7 in 1972-73) and rebounds per game (12.5 in 1972-73 and 71-71) came during his five years with the Nets.

Pauls ranks second in Nets history in career rebounds (4,544) and rebounds per game (11.2). He’s also third in franchise history in blocks per game (2.1).
