No. 3 Michael Carter-Williams’ debut October 30, 2013

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Not only was this the debut of Michael Carter-Williams, but it was also the first official game of the Process. The Sixers had traded away All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday and handed the reins over to Carter-Williams to begin the rebuild and it was something special. He had 22 points, 12 assists, nine steals, and seven rebounds in a stunning 114-110 win over the Miami Heat.

Carter-Williams would go on to win Rookie of the Year in a 19-63 season for the franchise and there was some hope that he could be the foundational piece to build around. Unfortunately, the rest of his Sixers career was marked by injuries and turmoil as he was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks at the deadline.
