What poses difficulty

Rolling into Austin after the Red River Shootout, West Virginia always has its game against Texas circled on their calendar. For some reason, the Mountaineers and their fans have attempted to start a rivalry with the Longhorns. While it may be one-sided, Texas always gets their best shot from West Virginia.

How Texas wins

West Virginia is not a Big 12 contender as they were the last time they visited Austin. The program took a turn when head coach Dana Holgerson left for Houston and Neal Brown was hired. The Mountaineers are undergoing a small rebuild and will be in the midst of it in 2020. A game that had a lot of meaning in 2018 should now be a routine win for Texas.
