Ranking Texas’ 2020 schedule by game winnability

This season will be a make or break season for Tom Herman. Needing to make it to the conference championship, UT must navigate the Big 12.

What poses difficulty

Despite the off the field problems recently in Stillwater, Oklahoma State still poses themselves as one of the biggest threats to make a Big 12 championship appearance. The three-headed monster on their offense in Spencer Sanders, Chuba Hubbard, and Tylan Wallace is going to take the conference by storm once again. Texas has lost two in a row on the road to the Cowboys and will have a full crowd to face the day after Thanksgiving.

How Texas wins

Stopping Hubbard is priority number one. When Spencer Sanders was put into positions to win the game by himself, he struggled. While he will improve this season, Sanders needs to show his capabilities before being fully trusted. The Texas defense will have their hands full but will need to bend, not break.
