Ranking Texas’ 2020 schedule by game winnability

This season will be a make or break season for Tom Herman. Needing to make it to the conference championship, UT must navigate the Big 12.

What poses difficulty

Oklahoma has been dominating the Big 12 for quite a while and has become better under Lincoln Riley. The offense more than likely is going to be nearly impossible to stop, no matter who is playing. Where the Sooners have gotten better over is on the defensive side of the ball.

This game is a coin flip every single year, no matter the circumstances.

How Texas wins

Despite the progress of the defense, it is still vulnerable. Sam Ehlinger needs to repeat his 2018 performance instead of last season’s. It will also help that Oklahoma will be starting a freshman quarterback in Spencer Rattler. Having the more experienced quarterback in Ehlinger, he will once again be the key to a Texas victory in Dallas.
