Quinnen Williams was a dominant force in the New York Jets’ Week 6 win over the Green Bay Packers, including two sacks.

As a result, Williams was rewarded for his effort by being named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 6.

Williams came up big not only defense but on special teams as well, as he had the blocked field goal early in the second quarter.

This could (should?) be the start of many awards for Williams, including some at the end of the season in the form of All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections.

Joining Williams this week as top players on the AFC side were Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Chargers kicker Dustin Hopkins.

On the NFC side, it was Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen, Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota and Vikings punter Ryan Wright.
