Ohio State football has looked impressive this season. It has covered the spread with ease in most games and has allowed just 14 points through its two conference games.
The Buckeyes have outscored Big Ten opponents a combined 73-14. Although things will get real when they head to the No. 3 Oregon Ducks in Week 7, the Buckeyes have already shown that they are among the best teams in the country.
Per Pro Football Focus, they might be the best. PFF, a well-known, analytics-driven company that hands out grades after performances by both players and teams, has the Buckeyes as the No. 1-graded team in the country following their 35-7 throttling of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

It’s hard to deny how good Ohio State has looked, having beaten Michigan State 38-7 the game prior. It totaled over 100 points while allowing just six through its first two games.
The Buckeyes have yet to face a top-25 team, but those challenges are on the horizon with two current top-five teams in the next month. Things will heat up, but this team, for now, has proven it is among the, if not the, best in the country.
