It’s another year of college football, and that means there’s more hand-wringing and teeth-gnashing about to occur with the final release of the College Football Playoff rankings.
Things feel pretty well set with teams like Alabama and Clemson, and to some degree Ohio State, but there’s going to be all kinds of drama with that fourth spot. And yeah, everyone with vested interests will jump all over the Buckeyes getting into the final four teams with only six games under their belt.
We’ve been doing our best to predict how the top ten of the CFP rankings will look each week, but we’ve differed from the actual committee that determines these sort of things because, well — they don’t use their collective noggins very well sometimes (we could go on, but we won’t).
But that doesn’t stop us from giving this thing another run at the old college try (pardon the pun). An important note; this doesn’t mean we agree with all of this, we’re just trying to figure out this wacky collection of individuals.
Of course, the top four will determine everything for everyone, but we’ll take it out ten spots like normal. So, here we go. Hopefully, the CFP committee is reading and watching because we’re right, and the folks in Texas aren’t.
