Potential replacements, takeaways from Jon Feliciano injury

Depth at center

Under the surface, there’s another situation to consider with Feliciano’s injury. Yes, he started at right guard throughout the 2019 season for Buffalo. But on their depth chart, he was also the second-string center behind Morse. The Bills will have to replace right guard No. 1 and center No. 2 without Feliciano around. This could be good news for some depth options.

Prior to joining the Bills, Long was the Jets’ starting center. His skills were better at guard, but he’s seen plenty of playing time snapping the ball. That season with the Jets in 2017, he struggled actually snapping the ball due to a hand injury, so he’d probably be better at doing it since he’s healthy. Along with Long, there’s also Boehm. Not as experienced, but has also played guard and center in the NFL like Long. Boehm didn’t look great while with Miami, but the Dolphins entire roster was a mess in 2019, if you recall. That would not have helped Boehm out.
