Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Disaster Looming
Disaster Looming is a mission that takes place towards the end of Pokémon Legends: Arceus‘ main story. While most of the quest is pretty straightforward, you will be presented with what seems like a big choice at the end.
After being expelled from Jubilife Village and turned away by the various Wardens you helped earlier in the game, Volo from the Ginkgo Guild will bring you to a new area called the Ancient Retreat. After meeting the mysterious Cogita, Adaman and Irida will arrive to tell you of their intentions to continue helping you in secret. Their plan is for one of them to accompany you to the Lake Guardian trials while the other stays back and keeps Commander Kamado off your scent.
The question is: Which one do you choose?
Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Should you choose Adaman or Irida?
Ultimately, this decision only really affects which Legendary Pokémon you are able to catch first. If you go with Adaman, Dialga will be at the Temple of Sinnoh and you will have to face Palkia in its Origin Forme later on. If you go with Irida, however, the opposite will be the case.
The best way to choose which of the two clan leaders you should go with is to examine whether your team would benefit more from a Dragon/Steel-type like Dialga or a Dragon/Water-type like Palkia. Once you’ve made your mind up, choose the leader who corresponds with the Legendary you want and you can be on your merry way.
