With training camp coming soon for the New England Patriots, it is time to dive into the storylines that will be more fascinating.
We have previewed the heck out of Mac Jones’ development and the impending decision about play-caller on offense. So we sidestepped those topics for the sake of avoiding repeating ourselves. Instead, we focused on 1) whether tight end Jonnu Smith and receiver Nelson Agholor will stop underachieving, 2) the development of a vacated and young linebacker unit and 3) the outlook at cornerback with the arrival of Malcolm Butler and two rookies (and the departure of J.C. Jackson).
