Player grades: Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey lead Sixers past Grizzlies

Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey stepped up to lead the Philadelphia 76ers past the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Philadelphia 76ers entered Monday’s contest with the Memphis Grizzlies severely shorthanded as they knew they would be without Joel Embiid due to a planned rest day and they would also be without Furkan Korkmaz. The Grizzlies have been consistent all season and this was going to be a tough matchup without the big fella.

The Sixers knew they would need others to step up and they got some big games out of Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey with Embiid out in order to knock off the Grizzlies 122-119 in an overtime thriller at home. Harris had 31 points, five rebounds, and five assists while Maxey had 33 points and eight assists with four blocks to lead Philadelphia in this one.

Andre Drummond added 16, 23 rebounds, and five assists with three blocks, Isaiah Joe added 10, Georges Niang added eight, and Danny Green had eight and five rebounds off the bench. Seth Curry finished with nine and eight assists as well.
