After dropping a midweek matchup to New Orleans on Tuesday night, LSU rebounded with a 6-2 win over the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday. After taking Game 1 against the No. 11 Bulldogs, the Tigers will look to win the series at home on Saturday at Alex Box Stadium.

[autotag]Tyler McManus[/autotag] got the scoring started in the bottom of the second inning with a two-run blast to left-center field to score [autotag]Tre Morgan[/autotag] and make it 2-0.

[autotag]Riley Cooper[/autotag] and [autotag]Paul Gervase[/autotag] both came in and pitched well for the Tigers to close out the game as Gervase got the save and LSU took a 1-0 series lead over the hairy dawgs. Game 2 will be on Saturday with the first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. CT. [autotag]Blake Money[/autotag] is the probable starter on the mound for the Tigers.
