The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party — the annual neutral-field matchup between the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs on the gridiron in Jacksonville — is closing in on kickoff time. But ahead of the storied rivalry game, fans of both schools gathered in the parking lot of TIAA Bank Field to commiserate with their fellow fans as well as to get amped up for the marquee event.
While the two fanbases hate each other with as much vitriol as any in college football, the scene at the pregame tailgate has plenty of good-natured ribbing as well as houses divided that are partying together. Of course, the food and drink that flows certainly helps… well, for the most part, as long as the latter is moderated.
