Hopefully, this year’s NBA draft was a sign of things to come. The Buckeyes had two players go in the two rounds of the draft, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen that. Malaki Branham was taken in the first round by the San Antonio Spurs, followed by E.J. Liddell in the second by the New Orleans Pelicans.
And while Liddell suffered an injury setback, Branham has been able to show flashes of the player San Antonio hopes he becomes during play in the NBA’s summer league.
