It ended a two-game losing streak in the rivalry for LSU, which sits at 4-1 (2-0 SEC) on the season after shutting out AU in the second half.
LSU faces what will likely be the toughest test of the young season next weekend when it hosts a top-10 team in Tennessee, but for now, this team will enjoy a hard-fought road victory in conference play.
