Florida basketball got off to an unusually hot start on Saturday night against the Mississippi State Bulldogs, running out to an early double-digit lead before taking a nine-point margin into halftime. However, the Gators came out of the locker room sluggish and allowed their opponent to get back into the game, but ultimately held them off for the 61-59 road win.
