Florida football lost its second straight game to the Georgia Bulldogs on Oct. 29, 2022, at TIAA Bank in Jacksonville, Florida, by a final score of 42-20. The ‘Dawg dominated this edition of the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party despite a run by the Gators coming out of the halftime locker room.
The defending national champions made short work of Anthony Richardson and the offensive corps, bottling up the starting quarterback as well as the ground game for much of the matchup. Florida was only able to make things interesting thanks to three turnovers; however, those takeaways only resulted in 10 total points.
