The long summer is nearly over for Florida football fans as the fall schedule quickly nears. While the Gator Nation experienced a hiatus in UF athletics, the student-athletes on the team were hard at work the past few months getting geared up for the first season of the [autotag]Billy Napier[/autotag] era.
With the new coaching staff comes a new philosophy, which the nascent head coach has worked effortlessly to instill since his hiring. They also must deal with a roster of inherited players, though there was plenty of shuffling in and out of the transfer portal early on that aligned the personnel on the field a bit better with those on the sidelines.
